Rohini
Rohini, red, was a minor Hindu goddess of good fortune mentioned in epic and Puranic literature. She was among the benevolent naksatras; daughter of Daksa and consort of Candra (Soma); and mother of Buda.
In Jainism, Rohini is the goddess of learning. She is one of the sixteen vidyadevi headed by the goddess Sarasvati. A.G.H.
