A'arab Tzereq

A'arab Tzereq (Hebrew AaRB TzRQ, "The Ravens of Dispersion") in Kabbalistic tradition are the Qlippoth or demonic powers associated with Netzach, the seventh Sephirah of the Tree of Life. In their traditional form they are depicted as hideous ravens with demon-life heads issuing forth from a volcano.

A'rab Tzereq is also referred to as Harab Serapel, "Ravens of the Burning God," or the Ravens of Death who even reject their own. The cortex is called Theumiel, "The Fouled Substance of God." The chief demon of this realm is Baal or Tubal Cain. Baal means Lord, and, in meaning, is equivalent to Adonai, but in usage is limited to signifying the Lord of Darkness, also attributed to Tubal Cain.

This Qlippoth is the unbalanced force of the Sephirah Netzach, victory and force, containing the ability of raw, emotional, passionate energy with which to overcome obstacles. But this force needs to be balanced by Hod, beauty, the ability of reason to exercise measured self-control, otherwise it becomes uncontrolled passion, desire, greed, covetousness, or unbridled lust.
